Research in a hurry invites error, which is why your project will receive a guaranteed 40-hour detailed log of research time. You supply family known information along with your own speculations. We review what you supply. Then we make a series of preliminary searches to determine if there is evidence enough to warrant thorough study of a county, state or a specific category of records—such as military sources. This research for a group of clients gathers information not easily available online or at FHL’s nationwide. This may require trips to County or State sources, if local, or via postal mail. We then compile acid-free family groups and pedigree charts showing how the evidence fits together. Where questions exist, we will flag with post-it notes for extra study. All sheets are then placed in acid-free archival sleeves and inserted in a binder to organize these records.   You will be supplied with a full copy of all the raw data collected, along with maps and illustrations that support your project. Full source information will be provided for proof. These are for your own family archives. The full set enables you to retrace our research steps so that you can challenge our work if an error occurs.
