History :: Note to Buyer :This doll is haunted by the Spirit of a distant relative. I am not at liberty to use her full name nor the name of her killer due to eBay rules and regulations. I shall refer to her as "Mary K." and her Killer will remain nameless.I have heard from older generations of my family that this doll was Mary K.'s most beloved childhood possession. To the best of my knowledge she grew up in Munster Ireland but left at an early age in pursuit of her dreams and leaving her beloved doll behind. Picking up the nickname “Ginger” and eventually ending up in London taking on a whole new career I would rather not mention. Soon after her 25th Birthday in the early morning hours, she was discovered in her home in London gruesomely murdered. I will spare the details but the grisly scene was enough to know she suffered a most long and painful death. Mary K. was found to be the fifth victim of a infamous serial killer. One of the most infamous of all time (if you would like to know more details about her killer please email me personally). And so the doll was left behind in Ireland along with all memory of her innocence. Eventually donated to my great ancestors and after a long migration to America, finding her way into the hands of my father who gave it to me a year ago. This doll was accordingly given the name “Ginger” by my wife and I. My father had related the dolls incredible history to us so we were well aware of Gingers origins. We have come to believe it is inhabited by the spirit of Mary K. herself. When it was first given to us, being lovers of antiques we put it on display in our living room. Two days later odd things began to occur. Every morning we would find her in a different position then she was displayed in. Strange contorted positions, bizarre bent positions, Positions that did not look natural and most importantly, positions that could only be made by either us moving her or her moving herself! As mentioned before, my wife and I are both psychic mediums and we both knew immediately the doll was indeed home to a ghost. So we began a series of intense E.V.P. (electronic voice phenomenon. A.K.A. the art of recording the voices of the dead) sessions. What we discovered soon after was nothing short of astonishing. Every session was quite similar, as if a man and woman were conversing in a most negative, hateful mannerism. We picked up horrible things, things I dare not repeat, Things that frighten me and invade my dreams to this day. After analysis of our sessions it became clear that the man was performing sexual acts on the woman and near the end of every conversation, torturing her in the most hideous ways imaginable. Upon disrobing her I was horror stricken. Underneath her dress, plain as day, was a blood stain.At that moment it all became clear, Mary came back to the doll because she could not move on. How could she? Her life was savagely taken from her at such a young age. The doll was her oldest and fondest memory and with her blood intertwined in its fabrics, what better place to spend eternity as an earth bound spirit. Ginger has been locked in our attic for weeks now although she still makes her presence known through moaning, scratching, thumping and bumping as a nightly ritual. Upon later investigation we came across another unusual discovery, in life, our Mary K. bore the same color eyes as her beloved doll. So again I say as fair warning. The doll itself boasts a solid cast porcelain head, painted by hand and glazed to seal perfection. The style of doll originates from Germany in the 1860’s but was distributed soon after throughout Western Europe. Ginger is about 19” in height. Her clothes are of the finest materials and represent a Victorian style.
