The large round cards (110 millimetres in diameter) are very attractive, and the use of various, but concurrent colours for the suits is well thought out. It takes a little time before you realise that the colours are different; when you then get it, the colours easily identify the suits. A whole deck depicting dragons? I would also be sceptical to that, but dragons are different, like humans, or so it sure looks like! imagery can influence an artist and inspire to an unusual deck, which still evidently is a tarot. Lynn’s Dragon Tarot is a personal experience put forward in a personal way. She had no need to re-colour or re-draw other artist’s drawings; she had an original idea of her own. That is one reason for why I like to Dragon TarotThere are no white borders on this deck, the colour of the cardboard goes right to the edge. The motive is surrounded by a frame and the small border outside it is used for the names and numbers of the cards. ..............The cardboard used has, besides the various colours, an „antique“ look which fits in well with the sepia toned line drawings. It is backed discretely with a black plastic sheet, that strengthens the cards and makes them usable despite of the fairly delicate cardboard.
