Created in 1984 by Mary Susan Chamberlain and Ziba Vilmanis-Westernberg in a limited private run of 1500 copies. This particular copy is in very fine condition with some aging of the box and wrapper, but all 22 cards are in excellent shape and appear to have hardly been handled. Printed on a light card stock in a standard Tarot deck size of approx. 2 3/4" X 4 3/4".  A collector's favorite, the deck is exceedingly rare. There was no booklet in the package as it came to me. In notes quoted by Kaplan, the creators of this visually stunning and symbolically rich work describe the spiritual foundations of the deck: "...all cultures have in common certain basic principles and are united in the primary experiences of humanity....Representatives of many of the major cultural and racial groups are represented with this Major Arcana, portraying the universality of human experience."  Encyclopedia of Tarot, vol.
