I, pp. 272, 274-275Description: Licensed reprint of the Royal Fez Moroccan Tarot, originally marketed by Rigel Press, Ltd. of London, and later reprinted by AGMueller of Switzerland. The deck was conceived by Roland Berrill, who was the founder of the MENSA organization. He commissioned British artist Michael Hobdell to execute the images in a style that would reflect the “imagery of design prevalent in twelfth century Fez.” The cards bear many compositional similarities to the popular Rider-Waite deck, but they do not include titles (although the major arcana cards do display numbers).
